World Oral Health Day Photo Contest
To mark the occasion of the World Oral Health Day the New Zealand Dental Association, in conjunction with Colgate, organised a photographic competition. Public were asked to submit a photo that demonstrated one of the three steps recommended by the NZDA to maintain healthy teeth and gums - healthy eating, effective home oral care and regular dental visits.
The grand prize winner is Gerald Pearce from Wanganui, who won the Canon EOS 1000D Digital SLR Camera with Twin Lens Kit is absolutely ecstatic about being the winner. "I am excited and feel very motivated with the opportunity to extend my photographic skills with this fabulous grand prize" he said. He believes that oral hygiene is an important life time habit that begins at home from an early age with the support of parents and our dedicated dental services available in New Zealand.
The winners of nine complimentary prizes include Lila Gibbens from Hokitika, Corey Gwaliasi from Hokitika, Annett Hauck from Papamoa, Rebecca McCulloch from Papakura, Yvonne Porter from Ohope Beach, Micaela Baard from Auckland, Emma Clifford from Auckland, Fay Young from Dunedin, and Lena Aseeva from Auckland.
