World Oral Health Day

12th September is World Oral Health Day!

The New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA) is pleased to join the FDI World Dental Federation and national dental associations around the world to celebrate this day. The aim of this day is to increase awareness for oral health, as well as the impact of oral diseases on general health, well-being and national economies.

To mark the occasion of the World Oral Health Day in 2011, two initiatives are organised by the NZDA to promote oral health.

  • World Oral Health Day Photo Competition
  • World Oral Health Day Event Funding
